  • We would like to give you a very warm welcome to our church and community. We are a vibrant, loving, child-friendly, inclusive parish within the catholic Anglican tradition of the Church of England in Central Barnet. We have a multi-generational congregation which reflects the cultural diversity of London life. We offer a traditional, friendly and relaxed approach to worship. We are noted for being toddler-tolerant and children are central to our church.

    Our vision at St John’s is to develop a caring community with a vibrant all-age worshipping congregation that is compassionate to the needs of our community. We wish to be as creative as possible to show the people of Whetstone that God loves them and that we care for them.

    Praise and thanksgiving are at the heart of all we do and we encourage our neighbours and community to join us in our fellowship activities.




  • Bible Study sessions resume in the new year.
    Evening Prayer every Wednesday at 5:15 pm

    NB on 17th December there will be no 9:00 am service.

    On 17th December at the 10:30am service, when Bishop Rob will preside over confirmation, there will be craft and other activities for our younger members at the back of the church.

    There will be no 3 o'clock club in the afternoon
